Benjamin Labelle

Bonjour

J'aimerais trouver la naissance de Benjamin Labelle dont les parents sont :  Francis (Doric) Labelle et Calice (Alice) Mayotte.
Il serait né le 15-4 1876 à Stanstead mais je n'ai rien trouvé dans les registres de cette paroisse. Au recensement de 1881 il a 4 ans et est avec ses parents à Stanstead.

Bejamin épouse Marguerite Rayno le 25-3-1903 au New Hampshire où il décède le 13-12-1936. Dans le certificat de décès on mentionne sa date de naissance comme étant le 15-4-1876 à Stanstead mais dans son acte de mariage on dit Stanstead Place.
J'ai aussi recherché les registres pour les paroisses dans Stanstead Place sans y trouver quoi-que-ce-soit.

Son frère William (Guillaume) a 7 ans au même recensement et apparaît dans le registre de la paroisse du Sacré-Coeur de Stanstead né le 2-6-1874 et baptisé le 12-10-1874.

BMS ne donne rien pour le mariage des parents de Benjamin. Tout ce qu'on y trouve c'est la naissance d'un frère nommé Philippe né le 28-6-1868 à Coaticook. J'ai recherché dans les registres de Coaticook pour Benjamin mais sans succès.

Le LaFrance de Généalogie Québec ne donne que le mariage de son frère Alphonse et celui de sa soeur Clarisse, tous deux mariés à la paroisse  du Sacré-Coeur de Stanstead.

Inhumes au New Hamphire:

I was reading this message board when I saw reference to Doric and Calixte LaBelle. They are my 3x great grandparents. I am trying to find any information that I possibly can about them. Siblings and parents are the things I am looking for. I have two different last name spellings for Calixte, Mayotte and Mailhot. Possible birth and date of death would be 1830-1912 and they are both buried in Tilton, New Hampshire. Thankyou

Hi Sue, I have been doing some serious research at the 'Archives' and here is what I found. Josephine Olivier was born June 10, 1866 in St Ferdinand near Thetford Mines, Quebec. She had a brother Onos (Thomas) Olivier who married Georgina Labelle, Sept 12, l876 in Stanstead, Quebec, By any chance this Georgina Labelle would be Anna's sister.
Then Anna Labelle and Josephine Olivier would not be cousins but they had common cousins. I don't have the proof of this but my guess is that it is much probable. 
If it is the case, Anna and Georgina had other brothers and sisters : Alphonse Labelle, married to Josephine Woodrow in Stanstead, August 6, l882, Alphonsine, married to Charles Henry Benson in Stanstead, March 6, l886, Clarisse, married to Auguste Pepin in Stastead, October 10, l873, William, born June l872 and Amedee, born l874.
Would those names be familiar to your father?
These Labelles are children of Doric Labelle and Calixta Mailhot. 
More precisely Doric Lebel dit Labelle. Are you familiar with this 'dit' thing in Quebec names? It means 'rather say'. This information narrowed my research, they are not the ordinary Lebel nor the ordinary Labelle, they are Lebel dit Labelle. I don't remember from where I know that Anna was a Lebel dit Labelle but I will check this.

Merci Ghislaine pour la deuxième partie du document de mariage. Je suppose que tu l'as trouvé sur Ancestry. Comme je n'y ai pas accès j'ai trouvé le document sur FamilySearch mais sur ce site il n'affiche que la première partie.

Sanbornton  ,  un coin que je connais  bien  j'y ai passe 2 etes chez une de mes tantes,  a  27 milles de Laconia et a peine 30 milles de Concord  la capital du N.H.

non jacques deslauriers family search il falait juste pese sur l autre image

quand même spécial ce certificat de décès de Benjamen en 1936 et il est vivant en 1940 sur le recensement que Ghislaine a déposé
